UNAPLOD plc. has been growing, buying and storing fresh apples and pears since 2006. The company is based in Kozarska Dubica, a small town at the foot of Kozara mountain in northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The immediate vicinity of Kozara mountain, sunny days and cool nights create ideal climatic conditions for growing fruit in this area. This is a fact known to the hundreds of producers of fruit who have been growing apples and pears in the foothills of Kozara for several decades, the total surface of orchards exceeding 3,000 hectares. All this is the reason why the quality of fruit in this region has become widely known.

The company has refrigerating capacity of 9,000 tons. The refrigeration plant uses modern ULO (Ultra Low Oxygen) technology, which enables us to provide you with high quality and fresh fruit throughout the year. Whether you want first or second class apples, more or less coloured, in wooden or cardboard packaging, our apple sorting machine will make it possible to meet all your requirements.

For years Unaplod has cooperated with a large number of apple producers (over 150 subcontractors), buying thousands of tons of apples and pears from them every autumn. Also, in 2008 the company started the project of planting its own fruit plantations. These plantations currently have over 120 hectares of intensive apple and pear orchard systems, planted according to the most up-to-date standards in the fruit-growing world, including, among other things, drip irrigation system. The aim of this project is to plant the total of 300 hectares of pears and apples in the near future.
